AIM Intelligence Joins SK Telecom Consortium for ‘AI for Everyone’ Initiative

AIM Intelligence has joined SK Telecom’s consortium for the government’s “AI for Everyone” project, taking responsibility for AI security. The company will provide AI red teaming and guardrail technologies to detect and prevent risks such as data leaks, policy violations, prompt attacks, and abnormal AI behavior. Its role will extend beyond chatbot security to AI agents and physical AI, helping establish safer and more reliable AI services for the public.

As AI moves beyond conversational tools toward systems that can make decisions and take actions, ensuring that these systems remain safe and controllable is becoming increasingly important.

AIM Intelligence has joined the SK Telecom-led consortium for the Korean government’s “AI for Everyone” initiative, contributing its expertise in AI security to help build safe and reliable AI services for the public.

Strengthening AI Security with Red Teaming and Guardrails

As part of the consortium, AIM Intelligence will provide AI red teaming and AI guardrail technologies to identify and manage potential risks throughout the operation of AI services.

The security framework will address risks including personal information leakage, policy violations, prompt injection attacks, and abnormal AI behavior. By identifying these risks proactively, AIM Intelligence aims to help ensure that AI services operate safely and within defined policies.

Expanding Security for AI Agents

The “AI for Everyone” initiative aims to develop AI services that go beyond providing information to performing tasks on behalf of users, including making reservations, placing phone calls, and supporting public services.

As AI agents become increasingly capable of making decisions and taking actions autonomously, traditional chatbot security alone is no longer sufficient. AIM Intelligence will therefore work to establish a continuous safety validation framework for AI agents, extending its security capabilities to address the risks associated with agentic AI.

The company is also expanding its focus to physical AI, where AI systems can independently make decisions and interact with the physical world.

Building a Safer AI Ecosystem

The government’s “AI for Everyone” initiative will provide access to general-purpose AI chatbots as well as public-sector and specialized AI agents. A beta version is expected to be released this month, with the full service planned for launch later this year following user feedback.

Through its participation, AIM Intelligence aims to contribute to the safe growth of Korea’s AI ecosystem by making security an integral part of AI development and adoption.

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into everyday life, building capable AI must go hand in hand with building AI that is secure, controllable, and trustworthy.

“The ‘AI for Everyone’ initiative represents a turning point in which AI moves beyond simply providing answers to performing actions in people’s daily lives,” said Yoo Sang-yoon, CEO of AIM Intelligence. “We will continue to strengthen AI security so that organizations and the public can adopt and use AI with confidence.”
